Gisteren Halloween, vandaag All Souls's Day, een Keltische feestdag, om de winter in te luiden, de oogst te vieren en daar wordt het Samhain genoemd (dankuwel Sokssawat...). En met Keltisch associeer ik nog steeds het makkelijkste Ierland, en dat heeft voor mijn kinderen ook nog betekenis omdat een aantal van hun voorvaderen daar vandaan komt... dus ga ik mijn muziekskes daar vandaan halen...

Yesterday it was Halloween, today it is All Souls Day, a Gaelic feast day, to celebrate harvest, the change to a darker period of the year (leading towards Christmas), also named Samhain. Gaelic is still easiest associated with Ireland, of course, which is also the hinterland of my children (through their father)... I'll try to find my Monday music from there.
